FPU2023 - Bioanalytical methology for non-targeted chemical analyses

This is a proposal for a FPU application for a PhD to develop a bioanalytical methodology for non-targeted chemical analyses of environmental samples using metabolomics/lipidomics/peptidomic responses of LC –MS coupled with chemometric methodologies. The aim of this PhD proposal is to link biological fingerprints of exposed model organisms/cells with hazardous chemical compounds to environmental risk analysis and assessment using the IDAEA technologies and knowhow in chemical analysis, chemometrics and toxicology. IDAEA is one of the best research institutions in Spain in the field of Environmental Sciences. This PhD will synergistically join the experience of our group in environmental analytical chemistry, environmental toxicology and chemometrics.
