FPU2023-Assessing the impacts of salinization on the River Gambia: effects on aquatic biodiversity
This project is part of a multifaceted and interdisciplinary approach to assess the impacts of freshwater salinization on the socio-ecological system of the river Gambia. Here we will focus on assessing the changes in freshwater biodiversity through a combination of environmental DNA and traditional ecological knowledge. Also we will assess the links between biodiversity, natural resources and human populations.
