Service description

El mantenimiento de cultivos de algas microscópicas es un servicio de larga tradición en el Instituto. Su importancia radica en poder ofrecer a los investigadores un monocultivo vivo de fitoplancton que sea de su interés para poder efectuar un experimento determinado. El mantenimiento de los cultivos se realiza por réplicas sucesivas en medios de cultivo estériles, adecuados con los nutrientes necesarios para las distintas microalgas.
