Atmospheric Corrosion and Cultural Heritage Conservation (CAPAC)

Cultural heritage is a fundamental sector for Spanish and European economy and society. COPAC is an interdisciplinary group devoted to the study of corrosion and protection systems for metallic materials used in this field. Nowadays, it is a young and growing group, that has continued the research activities in these field that have been carried out in the CENIM since many years ago. With a focus on applied research and the transfer to the society and industry of the scientific and technical advances in this research line.
