Archaeology and architecture of the city


The Research Group "Laboratory of Archaeology and Architecture of the City" (LAAC), which integrates 3 researchers and a hired doctor, is an international reference in the fields of Architectural Photogrammetry (External services n. 826242), Archaeology of the Architecture, in Architecture of the Arab Umayyad, the Maghreb and al-Andalus, as well as in the fields of Urban Planning in the medieval Islamic West and Information technology applied to Cultural Heritage; as well as Late Antiquity and High Medieval Architecture of Western Europe. The Group has its own active website (www.laac.es), which also reflects the activity of its collaborators, teachers and researchers from the Universities of Granada, Seville, Málaga y Murcia, Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando and others, that make up a multidisciplinary group made up of medievalists, art historians, archaeologists, architects, restorers, landscapers and botanists.
