Service description
The Andalchron service unit offers plasma source mass spectrometry services for the determination of isotope ratios by mass spectrometry with quadrupole mass analyzer (ICP-QMS; ICP-MS/MS) and high-resolution magnetic sector with multichannel detection (MC-ICP-MS), in solutions and, by laser ablation, of solids (LA-ICP-MS and LA-MC-ICP-MS).
For internal use of the equipment (CSIC), this service is only offered in self-service mode (use by user) depending on the availability based on the external demand of the service, not being effective the variants of sample preparation by technician and data processing. Self-service may only be performed by trained users with prior authorization by the technical manager of the service.
