Service's description
Este servicio ofrece al Sistema Nacional de Salud y a centros medicos privados nacionales e internacionales, una plataforma altamente especializada para el estudio de la longitud telomérica, su regulación y el análisis de mutaciones asociadas con acortamiento telomérico. El servicio esta especializado en telomeropatías, especialmente disqueratosis congenita, anemia aplásica y fibrosis pulmonar.

Benefit description
Determination of RNA expression levels of genes of the telomere and shelterin complex. We can use frozen tissue samples or cultured cells defective in telomerase activity or short telomeres. We can obtain and purify RNA and by RT-QPCR determine the expression levels of genes belonging to telomerase and shelterin complexes, using two referent housekeeping genes.
