La utilización de aplicaciones tecnológicas en la creación o modificación de productos o procesos para usos específicos en agricultura, es hoy en día imprescindible tanto a nivel de la empresa privada como en investigación pública. En el servicio BIOTECNOLOGÍA se recogen prestaciones basadas en técnicas de metagenómica, amplificación y secuenciación de ADN/ARN y transformación genética aplicadas a microorganismos y/o a plantas, entre otras. Se incluyen, además, en este servicio la microscopía y el cultivo in vitro como herramientas clave para la investigación biotecnológica.
