SUPRAMOLECULAR NANOCHEMISTRY AND MATERIALS

The Supramolecular NanoChemistry & Materials (NANOUP) Group aims to control the supramolecular assembly of (bio)molecules, metal ions and nanoscale building blocks at the nanometer length scale for the creation of multifunctional materials and devices. The use of Supramolecular Chemistry to control the fabrication of nanoscale materials and devices is a key aspect for the future of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology. In such a context, the interest of the research group is to study, develop and utilize new synthetic methods for assembling new porous Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and capsules (e.g. liposomes) for applications mainly in energy, environment, catalysis and biomedicine.
