Research and Dissemination in Archaeology (InDi)

The InDi group was born with a double purpose: - Approach the societies of the past through their social, economic, symbolic and technological dynamics. We are particularly interested in certain moments of transition (such as the transition to producing societies), because of the repercussions they have for understanding our present. - Disseminate the knowledge acquired in the field of archaeology so that society as a whole enjoys scientific advances and acquires a critical spirit. We address all groups, but especially those we call "forgotten" by the outreach activities. It is the case of people with intellectual diversity, senior citizens, at risk of social exclusion, with mental illness, in prison, etc. This line of science dissemination is already transversal with other CSIC groups that come from different disciplines.
