Hydrogen and Fuel Cells

Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Group started the activities in 1991, run by Dr. Daza, under a contract with the industry. The Group has participated in several projects (national, European, Latin American) and contracts with industries. It is considered a pioneering group in the fuel cell field (4 patents, significant publications and communications in international congresses). Dr. Daza is president of TC105 National Committee (1999) and the Spanish Fuel Cells Association (2002). The Group has possibilities for catalysts synthesis, physicochemical and electrochemical characterisation. The laboratory is equipped with single cell and stacks test stations (PEMFC, SOFC), catalytic reactors and pilot plant for reforming studies, WGS and COPROX reaction to produce hydrogen with high purity level. Spanish and foreign students have obtained their PhD degree, and others have carried out stays to have new experience in this subject.
