Energy2Devices

The ambition of Energy2Devices focuses on developing methods and advanced materials and devices for improving our energy management and conversion capabilities. Our vision is to develop a new generation of devices with integrated electronic and heat control that contribute to the development of smart energy technology for sustainable energy applications. This aligns with the world challenge related with affordable and clean energy. The following synergistic research lines are being developed: 1.Low‑dimensional materials with modulated transport properties to improve the efficiency of semiconductor devices for advanced electronics. 2.Development of solid‑state devices for the management, control, and recovery of energy in electro‑thermal systems, such as batteries or power electronics. 3.Porous materials, bidimensional compound and their hybrid for its integration at device and energy systems, with special emphasis in the water-nexus.
