Service description

The determination of the soil hydraulic properties carried out on both sieved soil samples and undisturbed soil. The main hydraulic parameters to be determined are the saturated moisture and residual moisture, the ¿ and n parameters of the van Genuchten model (1980) and the saturated hydraulic conductivity. Additionally, the apparent density of the soil and the conductivity of the preferential flows can be determined. For this purpose, a capillarity method (Moret-Fernández et al., 2021) and/or the unitary gradient flow procedure (Dirksen, 1999) will be employed.
