Service description

Analytical study of historical and archaeological metallic materials, specializing in ferrous metals (iron and steel), including the study of metallurgical slags. Elemental and micromorphological characterization analyses may include metallography, optical and electron microscopy, and EDS, XRF, and XRD spectroscopy, through services provided by CSIC external to this laboratory and to be budgeted separately. The costs described here corresponds only to that of the personnel carrying out the analyses and the study.
