Inauguration: European Mission Soil Week

Eloísa del Pino, CSIC’s president, participates in the opening of the European Mission Soil Week, event organized by INIA-CSIC.

This meeting arises from the proposal of the UE Directive about Soil Monitoring and Resilence, which aims to achieve healthy soils by 2050. In this European week, prominent personalities from research, politics and agriculture, as well as representatives from companies, organizations and public at large, are gathered to discuss about the challengues that the health of the European soil faces. Also, the latest advances related with the healthy maintainance  of soils will be presented, and will seek to mobilize the communities in charge of its protection.
