El servicio de microscopía electrónica (SME) proporciona apoyo científico-técnico a los grupos de investigación mediante métodos de análisis ultraestructural, inmunodetección y crio-microscopía. El SME ofrece técnicas de microscopía electrónica de transmisión (TEM) en dos grandes áreas de aplicación, microscopía a nivel celular para el estudio de tejidos y células, y microscopía macromolecular, para el análisis de complejos macromoleculares.
