Technical support on design of mixes and characterization in fresh of concrete and mortar

Benefit description

Design of concretes and mortars based on functional requirements and even considering sustainability parameters. Ad-hoc design of cementitious materials are made considering the functional requirements defined by the petitioner (as those regarding raw materials(e.g.: aggregates characterization), mix composition, physic-mechanical properties, environmental conditions, durability, etc.) The fresh state of the designed mixes is characterized by means of the test required by the petitioner or the specific standards. These include: consistency, density, air content, and those required in self-compacting concretes. The performance of the resulting materials can be also evaluated by means of mechanical properties (see Indirect Tensile Strength/Compressive Strength specific service), density, water porosity, water capillary suction, depth of penetration of water under pressure, etc. Before the execution of the tests, the petitioner must asking for the corresponding tests budget and accordingly accept it.
