CAbS es una plataforma que, bajo el paraguas del IQAC del CSIC y del CIBER-BBN, ofrece un servicio integral para la producción de anticuerpos. En función de las necesidades de cada proyecto, diseñamos y generamos anticuerpos frente a proteínas, péptidos, moléculas orgánicas y otros antígenos, mediante protocolos estandarizados o desarrollos personalizados. Prestamos especial atención a la fase de diseño del inmunógeno y a las estrategias de cribado y selección de los hibridomas más adecuados durante el desarrollo de anticuerpos monoclonales, aspectos fundamentales para obtener anticuerpos con las características deseadas en términos de selectividad, afinidad, especificidad y rendimiento en las aplicaciones previstas. Synthesis of haptens
Benefit description
The haptens are molecules of small molecular weight, too small to induce an immune response and must be thus conjugated to a carrier molecule, generally a protein. Some haptens require modification before they can be coupled successfully to the carrier molecule. Therefore, each hapten is unique and requires various strategies for its functionalization, which start from the simple modification of a portion of the existing hapten to the complete synthesis of a new modified hapten.
