The CSIC Libraries collection comprise over 1.8 million copies of printed monographs, 122.000 collections of printed journals, 98 reference databases, 610.000 electronic books and 45.000 electronic journal titles, almost half of them open access. These collections can be accessed through various tools:
- CSIC Virtual Library , a single point of access to all printed and electronic collections.
- Publishers portal of e-journals, e-books and databases
- Alphabetical lists of electronic journal

In accordance with the conditions stipulated in their use licenses, the electronic resources subscribed can be accessed by any user from the CSIC libraries, but only the CSIC staff can access them from outside the institution, using the off-campus service.More information can be seen on the CSIC Library and Archives Network website and in the Frequently Asked Questions section
