MAGNETIC NANOSTRUCTURES


The Magnetic Nanostructures group, led by Prof. Josep Nogués, investigates different types of magnetic, magnetoelectric and magneto-optical nanostructures with the aim of improving their functional properties for different types of applications. The group combines state-of-the-art lithographic techniques and chemical synthesis methods with structural, morphological and magnetic and magneto-optical characterization. The group combines the study of magnetic, optical and structural basic properties with the development of new applications in the field of biomedicine and environmental remediation.
