IMAGE AND VISION SCIENCE GROUP (IVIS)

The IVIS group does research in areas related to signal processing and vision modeling in applications such as microscopy, computational photography, medical imaging, etc. Our research has two well differentiated aspects: (1) The development of models (visual, physical, statistical) and algorithms derived from those models (for estimation, detection, classification, etc.); and (2) The application of those algorithms to a wide range of real problems in different applied research areas, such as the ones mentioned above.
