Groundwater and Hydrogeochemistry
The Groundwater and Hydrogeochemistry Group (ASH) carries out research, teaching and knowledge transfer to society in the field of hydrogeology and geochemistry.
It is formed by 12 tenured researchers (J. Carrera, M. Dentz, I. Queralt (ad hororem), J. Soler, E. Vàzquez, J. Cama, J. J. Hidalgo, E. Pujades, A. Jurado, M. A. Marazuela, T. Aquino, J. Martí) and more than 20 members among Ramón y Cajal researchers, postdoctoral, predoctoral and technical researchers.
Many of its activities are coordinated by our Associated Unit, the Groundwater Hydrology Group of the Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering (UPC). The group has published more than 450 articles in indexed journals, has participated in numerous national and international projects, has organized national and international conferences and has an important international dimension.
