Environmental Hydrogeology and Global Change (HYGLO-Lab)


The Environmental Hydrogeology and Global Change Lab (Environmental Hydrogeology and Global Change Lab) is a research group of the IGME-CSIC National Center, created in July 2021. It is heir to the Environmental Geology and Geomathematics Area of the IGME, from the Research Department in Geological Resources, existing before its incorporation to the CSIC. The name of the group was decided democratically through open deliberation of its components, voluntarily adhered to it, through successive votes and final consensus. It integrates a group of 27 people (27% women, 63% men), distributed among 2 scientific researchers, 9 permanent scientists, 1 Distinguished Researcher, 7 technicians and 8 assistants, assistants, contracted and training personnel. It is the largest group in the IGME, accounting for 12% of its scientific-technical staff itself; It has work centers in Madrid, Seville, Granada, Zaragoza, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia.
