BioRobotics

We are a research team that aims to generate new knowledge and technological solutions oriented to understand and control human biological systems and their environmental interactions. Our main scientific interest is the analysis of the neuromusculoskeletal and cognitive systems that enable humans to produce movements and decisions. Our research pursues development of technology-based methods that improve the functional or health outcomes of people with neurological injuries and neurodegenerative disorders as well as the discovery of new therapeutic targets that will help reduce functional deterioration and frailty associated with aging.
