Advanced Materials

Research activities related with characterization, synthesis and processing of advanced ceramic materials with high thermo-mechanical properties; diagnostic and conservation state of Cultural Heritage materials; Archaeometry of ceramic and glass materials. The core of the Group at ICMS is part of the R+D Group, Research Groups approved by the Regional Government (Junta de Andalucía), Group TEP 204. This Group was founded and evaluated in june 2001 and consolidated next years. At the moment, the Group is formed by 5 PhD members (1 is the Research Head at the ICMS). Only 1 postdoctoral member can be included. He is a postdoct of the Program "Margarita Salas" of the Ministry of Universities, who starts in 2022. The year 2021 has finished the co-direction of a PhD student, with predoctoral contract (4 years) at the University of Jaén inside the Horizon 2020 WASTE-3-2014 Program.
