FPU2025 - A preventive effect of a diet enriched in polyphenols and omega-3 foods on neurocognitive and vascular health (PhenΩAD-PID2024-160303OB-C21)
The PhD project will involve a human nutritional intervention, including dietary recommendations and physical activity guidelines, in a population at higher risk for neurodegenerative conditions and a control population, both characterized according to the APOE genotype.
The training and research activities will include tasks related to designing and runing a nutritional study, as well as molecular biology and chemical and biochemical assays for the analysis of biomarkers of biological activity and dietary intake.
