The Group is composed 3 staff researchers, and it currently participates in 5 European projects (PERFORMFISH, MAGNIFICIENT, EATFISH, AQUAIMPACT, AQUAEXCEL3.0) and the PI of the Group is also the PI of CSIC in 4 of them. Research is carried out on fish growth, nutrition-genome interaction, and the development of new aquaculture feeds through omics techniques (transcriptome, proteome, metabolome, microbiome) and biosensors of behavior and metabolic activity. The generation of virtual production models with environmental and animal monitoring is a new field of interest.
