Quantification of levels and sources of radon entry - Technical support on design of mitigation solutions to prevent radon entry and accumulation in living spaces The steps that are followed to address a remedy proposal depend on each building and radiological situation. Relevant studies that can be carried out include the following: Characteristics of the spaces and air communications between them are analyzed. Surveys are made in the envelope elements in contact with the ground to know the layers and characteristics of the underlying terrain. Granular substrate permeability tests are applied under soils.
