Pre-germination and seed viability tests

Service description

In the Seed Certification Laboratory of the Seeds and Nursery Plants Testing Station, of the Technical Directorate of Variety Evaluation and Laboratories of INIA-CSIC, which is accredited by ISTA (International Seed Testing Association), the following determinations related to the physiological quality of seeds are carried out: - Germination test : Cereal seeds except maize (according to ISTA Rules) - Germination test : grass seed (according to ISTA Rules) - Germination test : Pulses seeds (according to ISTA Rules) - Germination test : Coarse-grained legume seeds (according to ISTA Rules) - Germination test : Seed of industrial species, maize and other agricultural species (according to ISTA Rules) - Germination test: Vegetable seeds (according to ISTA Rules) - Germination test : Flower and spice seeds (according to ISTA Rules) - Germination test: Tree and shrub seed (according to ISTA Rules) - Germination test: Seed pellets (with species verification test, according to ISTA Rules) - Determination of viability by the topographical tetrazolium test: Seed of agricultural and vegetable species (according to ISTA Rules) - Determination of viability by the topographical tetrazolium test: Seed of trees and shrubs (according to ISTA Rules) - Vigour test: Electrical conductivity test on pea, soya, bean and chickpea (according to ISTA Rules) - Vigour test: Radicle emergence test on maize (according to ISTA Rules). - Issuance of documents and/or results: Provisional, final or duplicate ISTA International Certificate (not including testing fees). - Issuance of documents and/or results : Modification of information or inclusion of additional information in an ISTA International Certificate (not including the price of testing and after verification of conformity with ISTA Rules).
