SYSTEM TO GENERATE ULTRA-SHORT HIGH-POWER PULSES IN LASERS

CSIC have developed a method that allows to generate pulsed signals of high power and energy through control over the spatial distribution of the intensity, nonlinear effects and the dispersive characteristics inside a laser. This method offers interesting possibilities for the processing of laser materials, the generation of high bandwidth light sources, the development of sensors or optical metrology, as possible field of application.

Industrial partners from in laser sector are being sought to collaborate through a patent licence agreement.
