Laser Processing Research

The ‘Laser Processing Research’ (LPR) group focuses its activity on the laser processing of functional nanostructured materials through the techniques Matrix Assisted Pulsed Laser Evaporation (MAPLE), Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD), laser direct irradiation and Laser Direct Write (LDW) for energy storage and environmental applications. Current research lines: - Laser deposition of carbon-based hybrid nanocompounds. - Chemical transformation by direct irradiation of carbon-based thin films and nanostructures. The research group was created in 2010 and currently it is in the phase of caption of personnel for achieving an appropriated operative size. During the period 2010 - 2021, we published 64 articles in prestigious international journals and presented 42 contributions at national and international scientific conferences, being 20 of them invited or oral presentations.
