FUEL CELLS AND ENERGY SYSTEMS LAB., AND WATER CYCLE CONTROL LAB

The Fuel Cell Laboratory of the institute is a singular laboratory, at Spanish level, for fuel cell systems control research. The objective of the Fuel Cell Laboratory is the validation and testing of control strategies that maximize energy efficiency and extend the life of high and low temperature PEM fuel cell systems. The laboratory has five fuel cell test stations equipped with the necessary sensors and actuators to operate the systems in a safe and automated way, as well as the capability to implement a great variety of high level and low level controllers. The facilities are equipped with a monitoring system to comply with the necessary safety conditions.
