Neural and Cognitive Engineering Group

The Neural and Cognitive Engineering Group (gNec) belongs to the Centre for Automation and Robotics (CAR), CSIC-UPM mixed center. Its main objective is to use the knowledge coming from disciplines such as Automatics, Robotics and Computer Sciences to respond and offer technical solutions to problems related to physical and cognitive disabilities of the human being originated in the central nervous system. The research and development carried out by gNec, through the different projects in which it participates, is complemented by multidisciplinary contributions from the fields of the clinic, neurology and psychology. Currently, the group consists of two researchers on staff, two postdoctoral and two predoctoral researchers.
