What challenges does the scientific culture have in the public research institutions? How can we help the researchers of these institutions to disseminate the results of their work? How could be improved the active participation of citizenship, the citizen science? The course “Diálogos entre ciencia y sociedad: la cultura científica en las instituciones públicas de investigación”, organised by the CSIC’s Deputy Vice-Presidency for Scienific Culture at the Menéndez Pelayo International University, addressed these and other questions in the current context of promoting scientific culture in Spain and Europe.
Experts, known disseminators and managers at the head of different public institutions generated a forum for debate around conferences and round tables in which they responded to the main challenges in scientific dissemination.
Likewise, during the course, different activities undertaken within public institutions were exposed as examples of good practices.
